Subject: Humble Inquiry Regarding Holiday Homework and Related Academic Catastrophes

Respected Ma’am

With utmost respect and a slightly overburdened heart, I wish to bring to your kind notice a few concerns regarding the holiday homework recently assigned to us.
As you are already aware, students these days are courageously fighting against what can only be described as Sisyphian homework — work that appears endless and mysteriously reproduces itself overnight. This academic avalanche has unfortunately resulted in reduced screen time, limited physical activity, decreased family interaction, and almost complete extinction of hobbies. Consequently, students are experiencing elevated levels of stress, anxiety, confusion, and in some extreme cases, temporary inability to remember what “vacation” actually means.
Amidst this intellectual battlefield, following serious issue has emerged. The worksheet provided contains an unclear image of a particular page, which, after extensive investigation worthy of a detective agency, could not be found in the PDF shared by you. Several students spent hours zooming into pixels, rotating devices, increasing brightness, and even cleaning spectacles, but the page still remains a mystery of historical importance. For your reference, I have attached an image of the concerned page.
Furthermore, I would also like to mention the first question of Social Science homework. The question appears to be from a chapter that has not yet been taught in class. This unexpected encounter with unfamiliar content has created widespread panic among students. Some are now questioning whether they accidentally missed an entire month of school, while others are reconsidering their relationship with Social Science altogether.
At a time when the world believes vacations are meant for relaxation and enjoyment, students like us continue our noble struggle with assignments that could rival competitive examinations. Therefore, I humbly request you to kindly clarify these doubts and rescue us from this educational suspense thriller at the earliest convenience.
I sincerely hope that under your wise guidance, these matters shall soon be resolved and peace shall once again return to the students of Class 10 MA.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully

Subject: A Farewell we Never Wanted to Write

Dear Ma'am,

I hope this letter finds you happy, healthy, and free from the burdens that currently trouble your students. As for us, we continue our daily struggle against holiday homework that seems to multiply overnight, examinations that return with the determination of a movie villain who refuses to stay defeated, and a syllabus so vast that even Sisyphus might respectfully resign and look for an easier occupation.
As if these challenges were not enough, our dear friend Ruchit has permanently shifted to Chennai , leaving behind an empty seat and countless memories. And now, with the news of your departure, another familiar and cherished presence is being taken away from us. It appears that fate has recently developed a particular fondness for reducing the population of people we like. 😔
When we first heard that you would be leaving, many of us refused to believe it. Rumours in school usually travel faster than light and are often just as reliable as a weather forecast made by a goldfish. Yet this time, unfortunately, the news was true.
We had hoped that before leaving, you would visit our classroom one final time. Many of us waited expectantly, glancing at the door every few minutes, convinced that at any moment you would walk in and say, "I was only joking." Sadly, reality proved to be less generous than our imagination.
Ma'am, classrooms are made of walls, desks, blackboards, and windows. Yet what truly gives them life are the teachers who fill them with laughter, encouragement, patience, and wisdom. You did exactly that. You transformed ordinary lessons into memorable experiences and ordinary days into stories worth remembering.
You taught us much more than what was written in textbooks. You taught us how to remain disciplined without losing our sense of humour, how to work hard without losing hope, and how kindness can be as powerful as knowledge. Years from now, many chapters, formulas, and definitions may fade from our memory, but your words, your guidance, and your presence will remain.
The thought of entering the classroom and not seeing you there feels strangely unreal. It is like opening a favourite book only to discover that the most important chapter has ended too soon. There will be new teachers, new lessons, and new routines, but some absences cannot be replaced; they can only be remembered.
Though our hearts are heavy 💔, we are also proud and happy for you. Every ending is the beginning of another journey, and we sincerely hope that your new path is filled with success, happiness, and opportunities worthy of your talent and dedication. We are certain that wherever you go, your future students will admire and respect you just as we do. In fact, we are already slightly jealous of them. 😄
Please know that Class 10th MA will always remember you with gratitude and affection. Among the countless pages of our school life, your chapter will remain one of the brightest. Long after report cards have been forgotten and exam marks have lost their importance, the memories we made under your guidance will continue to stay with us.
Thank you for every lesson, every word of encouragement, every moment of patience, and every smile that made even difficult days easier. We wish you success great enough to match your efforts, happiness great enough to match your kindness, and students good enough to deserve a teacher like you—though that last wish may be asking a little too much from the universe.
May your journey ahead be filled with joy, achievement, and countless reasons to smile .
With deepest respect, gratitude, and best wishes ,

Yours sincerely,

Shivam Sharma

Subject: A Humble Invitation to Revisit the Extraordinary Realm of X MA

Respected Ma'am,

On this auspicious occasion of Teachers' Day, I extend my most sincere wishes to you. May your life be filled with happiness, tranquillity, prosperity, and absolutely no notebooks demanding to be checked.

It still feels inconceivable that you departed from our class so unexpectedly. One day you were teaching us English, correcting our grammatical atrocities and explaining literature; and the next, you had vanished into another academic universe. There was no warning, dramatic farewell, or opportunity for us to prepare emotionally for this catastrophic academic migration.

Since your departure, the atmosphere of X MA has changed. Homework continues to proliferate, examinations continue to haunt humanity, and tenses, reported speech, and grammatical accuracy remain at large. We are bravely attempting to survive, although your absence has created a conspicuous vacancy in our classroom.

Your teachings remain deeply indelible in our memories. You did not merely teach us English; you taught us how to construct sentences without causing an immediate grammatical emergency. Your classes combined knowledge, discipline, humour, and occasional terror whenever someone had forgotten their homework. In fact, the mere utterance of “Show me your notebook” could make several students experience an instantaneous decline in confidence.

Therefore, on this honourable occasion, I cordially invite you to visit:

swatimishra.vercel.app

Consider it a tiny digital tribute from a student who still remembers his English teacher. Your departure may have altered our classroom, but it cannot obliterate the indelible impression you left upon us.

Once again, Happy Teachers' Day, Ma'am! May you continue to illuminate countless students' lives with knowledge, wisdom, and the ability to distinguish between your and you're.

Thanking you,

Yours obediently,
Shivam
